Aerobics Class Student– For this cute and easy toddler costume, you will need a white t-shirt, leggings, leg warmers and a headband. The idea here is to use cool color combinations that were popular back in the 80’s. You can choose one color for the leggings and another for the leg warmers or one color for the leggings and another for the headband. Popular color combos include pink and teal, peach and blue, light blue and yellow and black and lime green.
Static Electricity– This is a creative costume where you only need black pants, black shirt, socks that are mismatched and safety pins. Just pin the socks all over the outfit and make the hair messy to look like static. Use a small laundry basket for a trick or treat container.
Duck– Your toddler will look cute and cuddle as a little ducky. You will need a yellow feather boa, cut into pieces; yellow hoodie, yellow sweatpants, yellow rubber boots, yellow gloves and a hot glue gun. Using a hot glue gun, attach the yellow feather boa pieces to the sleeves of the hoodie to make the duck’s feathers. Attach a long piece (5-6 inches long) of feather boa to the point of the hood.
Sushi– Yes, sushi! This cute costume is easy to make. You need a small orange pillow, white tape, dark green ribbon (4-inches wide), scissors, hot glue gun and Velcro strips. Vertically, on the pillow, adhere strips of white tape down the pillow, beginning at the top middle edge. You want to leave about two inches of space between strips. Do the same thing on the other side of the pillow, instead going in the opposite direction. Cut a piece of green ribbon to 24 inches in length. Using the glue gun, attach the ribbon to the middle part of the pillow, crosswise. Measure a piece of Velcro to fit around your toddler’s waist and attach it to each end of the green ribbon to be used as closure.
