Living Gluten Free and Paying It Forward with Save1

Eating Utensils

There are many reasons why people choose to switch to a gluten free diet. One of the main reasons is due to Celiac Disease. However, many people have an allergy to wheat.

Other reasons why people choose to go gluten free is because it is healthier for you. Wheat converts quickly to sugar which raises the insulin levels within the body. Wheat is very hard to digest, therefore, it sits in your bowel and ferments giving off foul smelling gas. Toxins can leak into your bloodstream due to the ingestion of wheat. There is little nutritional value in refined wheat.

Mind you, living gluten free does not only mean avoiding wheat, there are other grains that you should avoid as well. Barley, oats, rye, and tricale are other grains that you should omit from your diet. It is important that you avoid certain foods from your diet, and some common foods to avoid are; cereal, bread, biscuits, gravies, pastas, pizza crust, marinades, soy sauce, beer, and of course, baked goods. It should be noted that some companies offer these products as part of their gluten-free line, meaning that they do not contain wheat.

For those of you who are gluten free and would like to save some money on shopping can do so by shopping at Glutenfreely over at Save1. At Save1 you will find coupons for money off of Glutenfreely products, which produce foods that are totally gluten free. One thing that makes Save1 entirely different than other websites that offer coupons, is that they believe in paying it forward.

Save1 has partnered up with some great companies to offer you spectacular savings, and some great feeding partners as well. The Feeding Partners are Project Peanut Butter, Feed My Starving Children, Feeding America, and Action Against Hunger. I should also mention that Save1.com does not only carry food coupons, they have coupons for health and beauty products, electronics, apparel, jewelry, gifts and flowers, home improvement, and a whole lot more.

So make sure to stop by there often for some great savings on products that you would normally use anyway and if you are gluten-free consider paying it forward by visiting Glutenfreely on Save1 and help to feed a hungry child.
