Healthy Shopper has been at it again collaborating with companies and small business owners who manufacture and promote a healthier lifestyle through their organic food products and or wellness products. Now for those of you who are unfamiliar with Healthy Shopper, it was the brainchild of two women who wanted to make healthier food more accessible to consumers. Check out the Healthy Shopper Fall 2014 Picks.

Healthy Shopper highlights several products in their fall 2014 lineup.

Pamela’s Products, Made Good, Simply Natural, Olympic Dairy, Allimax, and Hyland’s are the companies that are showcased for fall.

Pamela’s Products offers consumers gluten-free flours and baking mixes. I have used their gluten-free flours in the past. Pamela’s Artisan Flour is silky soft and makes great roti’s. I can’t wait to try out Pamela’s Roll and Cut Sugar Cookie Mix. I am sure it will be a big hit in our household.

At our house, the kids love their snacks and Made Good snacks are organic and made with minimal processing. We opened up the Made Good Mixed Berry Granola Bars. Yum, what intense flavor. Delicious, nutritious and contains no peanuts. I will be adding this to yogurt and yogurt ice cream. The kids will probably eat the Made Good products a la carte.

Simply Natural Pasta Sauces are pasta sauces that are flavorful, fat-free, and organic. This time I was sent 4 of their products to sample. Tomato & Basil, Vodka Cream, Fra Davolo, and Roasted Garlic. I will probably gift the Vodka Cream and Fra Davolo to my daughter as these are two flavors that I know I would not be able to enjoy. I might whip up some pasta tomorrow and use the Tomato & Basil sauce as the sauce.

Olympic Dairy has a new Balkan style yogurt on the market. this one contains Chia seeds. This super food is made from plants and is rich in Omega 3 oil. It comes in four flavors and is probiotic. Will have to look for some the next time I go out grocery shopping.

The Allimax and Hylands Baby products were not food products, but natural products that are designed to help you recover from certain ailments.

The Hylands Baby Tiny Cold Tablets and the Hylands Baby Cough Syrup will surely help to alleviate the symptoms of a cold for a baby.

Allimax is a garlic capsule which will help to boost your immune system during the winter months. It can help to relieve congestion and alleviate some of the symptoms brought on by a cold.

We will definitely be using these products this winter.
