Earmuffs Day
March 13th is Earmuffs Day. A pair of earmuffs can tell you a lot about someone’s personality. At one time, this ear warming accessory were sold in black, dark brown or dark grey. A couple of years ago, they came back in style and many different fabrics, colors, and styles hit the market.
I remember the winter school days when I was a kid, I hated wearing hats of any kind. I often left my long blonde hair blow in the wind, no matter if I froze or not. I even went to school with wet hair that was uncovered and which quickly froze solid. Kids nowadays have many choices of headgear. One of my daughters has long blonde hair and dislikes hats as well.
However, when it is really cold out, she will doff her panda bear earmuffs and head out the door. If she happens to have misplaced them, and there is a wind chill in the air, she will pull her jacket hood on to keep her head warm. Smart kid!
Celebrate the day by wearing your favorite pair of earmuffs and flaunt your style.
