Now that spring has finally arrived, we all start to think more about how the winter weather and the use of various forms of heat have taken their toll on our skin. I, for one, tend to have combination facial skin from normal to dry in some areas. In particular, my forehead and eyebrow area tends to be a little dry, while the other areas of my face are normal.
I also have sensitive skin, which does not take to heat too well, nor various types of health and beauty creams that have a large amount of perfumes, alcohols and other chemical additives. I usually use a cotton pad to gently wipe away any accumulated dirt and grime.
This is generally soaked in tepid water, patted on face and then patted dry. However, I think that I am going to try Jessners Solution Skin Peel as it contains salicylic acid, lactic acid, and resorcinol. These three ingredients will help to neutralize bacteria, break down rough, dry skin, and improve its overall texture and hydrate it as well. Works well on skin that is prone to acne, psoriasis, and eczema as well.
