Brad’s Raw Foods offers a healthier alternative to consumers who love to snack. Brad’s Raw Foods was the answer to Brad Gruno’s alternative new product that was developed by Brad himself when he made the move to start eating healthier. His products are gluten-free, flavorful, crunchy and also raw. That’s right. RAW!
Brad’s Raw Foods produces healthy foods that include; raw chips, raw leafy kale, and raw crackers. He got the idea of making these products after losing weight and lowering his cholesterol by switching to a plant-based diet. Although Brad loved the salads, he missed the crunch when it came to eating and so into the kitchen he went, making Brad’s Raw Foods.
Brad’s Raw Chips Come In Many Flavors
Brad’s Raw Chips come in a variety of flavors that are made with all natural ingredients. I was sent three of Brad’s Raw Foods for the purpose of a product review and they were Brad’s Raw Chips-Cheddar, Brad’s Raw Chips-Sweet Potato, and their newest product on the market, Brad’s Leafy Kale – Pina Kale-ada flavor.
Brad’s Raw Chips- Cheddar flavor contain these healthy ingredients; CARROTS, RED BELL PEPPERS, NUTRITIONAL YEAST, FLAX SEEDS, SPROUTED BUCKWHEAT GROATS, SCALLIONS, and EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE.
Brad’s Raw Chips- Sweet Potato flavor contain CARROTS, SWEET POTATO, FLAX SEEDS, SPROUTED BUCKWHEAT GROATS, MAPLE SYRUP, EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL, SALT, and vanilla extract.
Brad’s Leafy Kale-Pina-Kale-ada is made with Brad’s Leafy Kale that has been topped with raw shredded coconut, pineapple, and banana. Taste of the Tropics!
As you can see from the product ingredients, Brad’s Raw Foods are definitely healthy! These are definitely a great snack food for those who are looking to lose a few pounds, lowering cholesterol levels, or even those who are looking to increase their fiber intake.
Brad’s Raw Chips can be used to top a salad, eaten plain, dipped in hummus or any other type of dip for that matter. They also can be used as tortilla chips, spread with organic peanut butter or even some honey.
Of the three products I had the opportunity to review, I would have to say that the cheddar chips are my fav, followed by the sweet potato chips, then the leafy kale-pina-kale-ada. The taste of the coconut, pineapple and banana is prominent on top of the kale and gives it a sweet taste. It does take a little getting used to the kale, especially if it is not something that you have regularly.
Brad’s Raw Foods definitely offers healthier alternatives to snacking as opposed to snack products that are filled with sodium and sugar. Brad’s Raw Foods are not baked or fried, they are made by dehydration methods that help to ensure that the product stays fresh and the important nutrients are not lost in the preparation of these products.
