Bedroom Organization Hacks
Your bedroom is the room in your house where you start your day and where you end your day. Because of this, you want to be sure it stays as organized as possible. Here are some helpful and useful bedroom organization hacks.
Under the Bed Storage– Storing items under the bed is a great way to keep things out of the way and unseen. You can use baskets and/or cubbies to store things you don’t use on a daily basis. What is even better is to get a bed that has storage drawers built in.
Footboard Storage– Many people don’t use the space that is located at the foot of the bed for storage when they should. Place a chest or ottoman at the foot of your bed to store items like linens and blankets.
Shelves Behind Bed– Instead of using a regular headboard behind your bed, use bookshelves instead. Bookshelves not only make a decorative statement but they are also ideal for storing decorative items, trinkets and yes of course, books!
Ladders to Store Shoes– If you need a spot to store all your shoes in an organized way, think ladders. Yes, recycling an old worn-out ladder makes a great shoe holder. Just lean it up against the wall and place your shoes on each step.
Coffee Can Storage– Cleaned out, washed out coffee cans of all sizes are great for storing and organizing pens, pencils and markers. You can wrap the cans with wrapping paper for a more decorative look.
Shower Caddy Storage– A shower caddy is just not useful for keeping things organized in the bathroom. You can hang one on your bedroom wall to store items you use every day like notebooks and office supplies.
Magnetic Boards– Magnetic boards are perfect for organizing makeup that you use on a daily basis like foundation, lipstick and blush brushes. These boards can either be hung on a wall or propped up on a dresser.
