Alfredo Parmesan Pork Chops

Wanted to make something different the other day with Pork Chops and did just that!

Here is what the dinner looked like.

Alfredo Pork Chops, Broccoli, and Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Alfredo Parmesan Pork Chops, Broccoli, and Garlic Mashed Potatoes

4 Pork Chops
6 whole mushrooms, sliced
little bit of canola oil
salt and pepper to taste
onion flakes
garlic powder
oregano flakes
1/2 tsp sage
1/2 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
1 jar of Alfredo Sauce
2 heads of fresh broccoli
6 whole potatoes, washed and peeled
garlic powder, butter, little bit of milk

I used my Aroma Housewares Digital Pressure Cooker to make this meal

1. First wash and trim the broccoli, remove the rough ends. Place in pressure cooker with a 1/4 cup of water. Turn the pressure cooker on to high pressure and pressure cook for 4 minutes. Release pressure, remove broccoli from steamer and place in bowl.
2. Take the 6 whole potatoes and place in pressure cooker. Add 1/2 cup water. Set to pressure cooker on high for 8 minutes. Once the timer is complete release pressure and place potatoes in bowl, mash, add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and milk. Whip until smooth and of the desired consistency.
3. Make sure you wash the inner bowl of the pressure cooker. Dry. Now add a couple of sprinkles of olive oil. Place the 4 chops inside. Brown for 15 minutes with lid off. Turn frequently. Slice the mushrooms and add to the cooker, brown for 3 minutes. Add the alfredo sauce, the parmesan cheese, the onion flakes, salt and pepper, sage, and the garlic powder. Cover with lid and simmer for approximately 7 minutes. Place the chops, mushrooms, and sauce in a covered bowl until it is time to eat.

Serves 4.

This sounds delicious and it’s making me hungry. It’s time for bed and I’m not allowed to eat. I will be trying this soon though, thanks for sharing.
