Walk Around Things Day
April 4th is Walk Around Things Day. This day is supposed to be fun and you should strive to step out of your comfort zone. When you are out and about or at work make sure to take those extras steps to walk around something. You may get a little tired, however, your body will thank you for it. You may also burn some unneeded calories. Walk Around Things Day could also give Moms a break. If you are a Mom and happen to see a few of the kids toys on the floor, walk around it a couple of times.
If your children happen to see you and asked you what you are doing, tell them. And in the next breath, say to them, “Are you not glad that I did not step on it and break it?” Chances are they will ponder that for a second and then quickly pick it up off of the floor.
