The” Love Is” Index Cards Game

For this game, you will need 50 index cards, divided into two sets of 25. On the first set of cards, write a romantic word on each card such as chocolate, love, passion, roses and candles. On the second set of cards, write phrases that are not romantic in nature like motor oil, hair dryer, chalk board, nail polish and swimming pool. Stack the two piles in the center of a table and hand out paper and writing instruments to each guest. Each player picks a card from each pile until all the guests have two cards. Using the words and phrases they have, have them write a silly love poem. Once all the guests are done, have them read their poems out loud.

Guess the Number of Hearts Game

This is always a fun game to have at any party. It is usually done on an individual basis but it is a great game for couples as well. Before all the guests arrive, place cinnamon hearts or conversation hearts in a glass jar. Couples can get together and guess how many candies are in the jar. They can do it as a couple or individually as a competition. The couple that comes the closest as to the number of candies will win the jar filed with candy.

Tattoo Love Game

Have couples draw tattoos on one another by using things like body markers, body paints or face paints. Be sure that you have wipes or washcloths available for easier cleanup once the game is done. Once all of the guests have inked their creations on their partner, have everyone vote for the tattoo they like the best. Of course, they can’t vote for their own works of art. The guest or couple that has the most votes is the winner.

Love is Blind Game

This is a fun and popular game played at Valentine’s Day parties for couples. You first need to have two people that will act as spotters before starting the game. Separate the men into one group and the women into another group and then blindfold everyone. The object of the game is for everyone to locate their partner with no words spoken. The couple that finds each other first is the ones who win the game.
