Tortilla Chip Day
Feb 24th is Tortilla Chip Day. Tortillas are that good for you snack food. They do not contain much sugar and add fiber to your diet. These are made from corn flour and can be either homemade or store bought. They are usually served accompanied with some sort of dip and topped with cheese. Avocado or salsa are two common types of dips. A layered dip also works well with these snacking chips.
Another way to eat them is with some homemade hummus. Mashed chick peas are used to make this dip along with some garlic and onions. For those of you who do not have any on hand, this snacking chips are just as tasty topped with some melted cheese.
