Tips for Taking Your Toddler to Disney
If you are planning a family trip to Walt Disney World and you have a toddler, you are going to be dealing with all sorts of things like strollers, tantrums, diapers and snacks. However, with just a few tips to keep in mind, you and the whole family can have an enjoyable vacation.
Things to Watch to Get Them Excited– There are some movies you can watch with your toddler to get them not only excited about Disney but prepared as well, so they know what to expect. The Lion King is a good one to watch because there is a Lion King attraction at both Epcot and the Animal Kingdom. Cinderella is another good movie to watch because after all, it is her castle in the heart of the Magic Kingdom.
Choosing the Ideal Place to Stay– There are some hotels around Disney that your little one may enjoy. The Art of Animation resort features various rooms dedicated to Disney characters such as The Little Mermaid, Cars and Finding Nemo. The Polynesian Hotel allows you and your family to watch the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom and to get to the parks, you can catch the monorail right at the hotel.
Must See Toddler Attractions– Disney World has four main parks: Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot and Animal Kingdom, each one having their own toddler favorites when it comes to attractions. Country Bear Jamboree in the Magic Kingdom is a must-see, featuring animatronic bears that play music. Also, It’s a Small World, featuring a boat ride through scenery featuring animatronic dolls from around the world. At Hollywood Studios, Muppet Vision 3D is an indoor 3D Muppet attraction and the Voyage of the Little Mermaid are great attractions for toddlers.
Epcot really doesn’t have anything toddler friendly, but a cool place to check out nonetheless. Toddlers will love the Animal Kingdom, especially the Safari ride and the Broadway-style show Festival of the Lion King.
