Even if you did not have a blankie when you were small, you are going to be looking for the Slanket Blankie to keep you warm and toasty. Well, in case you are wondering the Slanket is not a blankie at all, but a plush, luxurious blanket with sleeves.
I received the Limoges Slanket for the purpose of a product review and find it quite comfy and warm. The idea of the sleeves is ideal as you can keep warm while lounging on the couch or even at the computer. The Slanket comes in many different colors, some are plain solids, and others have various print patterns on them.
The Slanket also comes in several sizes. There is the Adult size that is a whopping 60″ W by 95″ L, a Kid’s size that measures 44″W x 66″L, a Travel Slanket that measures 58″W x 66″L, and a Siamese Slanket that is an enormous 120″W x 95″L. The company also produces a pillow called the Koala Pillow which can be used as a pillow and also unfolds into a blanket. The Koala Pillow measures 16.25inx16.25in and the blanket measures 60inx70in.
The Slanket makes a great gift for parents, grandparents, college kids, and younger kids too! The Slanket permits you to read, talk on the phone, and even play video games and keep the chills away. It is a hands-free way to keep warm and toasty and is great for traveling in the car as well as for camping.
The only negative thing I can say about The Slanket is that it is very generous in length. With me being rather short, I might have to trim a little off the bottom.

I never thought about using one for travel. I take the train , at night, for 12 hours and it’s rather cool and a little uncomfortable without a blanket. I am lucky enough to have handicapped seating which means that most times I get 2 seats together so I can stretch out. Sadly, I don’t carry a full sized blanket, so i never really rest warmly and comfortably – but with a Slanket, with sleeves and that good length, the thing would stay on, no matter how I got curled up on the seats, and it would be long enough to wrap around my legs. I’m looking forward to getting one, really a wild looking one.
