Another great item I received to review was the Tfal 12.5 inch Professional Saute Pan. What I love most about the Tfal brand is the fact that they are non-stick. It also has a Thermo-Spot. The Thermo-Spot lets you know when the pan is hot and ready to cook. It is also safe to use in the oven, in temperatures up to 350 degrees.

It is also Ergonomic and features a handle that stays cool to the touch. It also has a lifetime limited warranty. Make sure to use those special utensils that are safe for non-stick pans rather than the metallic ones to help eliminate the chance of scratching the non-stick surface.

The Tfal 12.5 inch Professional Saute Pan is sloped and rather deep for a pan which makes it quite versatile to cook with. The only thing is that I wish it came with a lid. The cooking surface is 12.5 inches which means that it is quite roomy. It is made of aluminum and has a stainless steel base which makes it safe for all types of cooking, even induction cooking.

The handle part is not welded on, it is held with a plate and screws and maybe over time it will become loose. I have had that happen with a couple of other pans that had their handles attached by this method. But it is nothing that cannot be fixed.

I used the pan to make some fried chicken and was quite surprised that it did not stick to the pan and was very easy to clean afterwards.

Overall, the Tfal 12.5 Professional Saute Pan is a great addition to your cookware. It also makes a great gift item. If you are looking to purchase a lightweight, easy to clean, non-stick saute pan, I would recommend that you try the Tfal 12.5 Professional Saute Pan for yourself.
