March 30th is Take a Walk in the Park Day. I remember when my kids were a little younger we used to spend hours in the local parks. It was not uncommon for me to take along a stroller and buggy, pushing and pulling at the same time. We usually spent 6-8 hrs a day in the park, socializing and playing.
Mind you, many of the parks have been updated to dog parks and or the apparatus has changed. The parks that I played in with my kids were the very same ones that I went to when I was younger. Not only has the recreational areas changed over the years, many of the buildings have changed as well.
I miss the days when I used to have fun in the park. Are you going to spend your day enjoying the outdoors?
