Freedom Trail– The Freedom Trail stretches two and a half miles in the heart of downtown Boston. This trail features 16 locales that deal with United States history, including USS Constitution, Massachusetts State House, Boston Common, Paul Revere House and Bunker Hill Monument. The Freedom Trail was established in 1951, an idea of William Schofield, a Boston journalist.

Faneuil Hall– Faneuil Hall was established in 1743 and is located close to Boston’s waterfront district. In 2008, Forbes Traveler magazine listed Faneuil Hall as 4th on their list of America’s 25 Most Visited Tourist Sites. Faneuil Hall is a marketplace filled with shopping, dining and entertainment. Shopping venues include Boxers to Go, Irish Eyes, Crabtree & Evelyn, Best of Boston, Yankee Candle Company, Happy Hangers, Urban Outfitters and Boston Campus Gear. Faneuil Hall features 14 restaurants including Boston Chowda, Fisherman’s Net, The Monkey Bar, North End Bakery and Starbucks.

Fenway Park– Fenway Park was established in 1912 and is the home of the Boston Red Sox. It is Major League Baseball’s oldest ballpark. The park is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, added in 2012.

New England Aquarium– The New England Aquarium sees over 1.3 million visitors each year. It was opened in June of 1969 and is 75,000 square feet, featuring 600 species of approximately 20,000 animals. The largest tank at the aquarium holds 200,000 gallons, known as the Giant Ocean Tank. This tank features an array of sea life including stingrays, sea turtles, barracuda and sharks.

Museum of Fine Arts– The Museum of Fine Arts is considered to one of the United States’ largest museums. The museum showcases over 450,000 works of art. As of 2014, the Museum of Fine Arts was considered to be the 55th world’s most visited art museum.
