March 28th is Something on a Stick Day. Interesting. Thought provoking. The first thing that comes to mind is heads on a stick. Corporal punishment from the annuals of history. Way back in the olden days, justice served often meant quartered rebels, ruffians, robbers, and anyone accused of a crime. After they were dead, their heads were impaled upon a stick and left as a reminder of punishment in the town square. Thankfully those days are long behind us!
Something on a stick day can also be related to food. Corn dogs, candy apples, shishkabobs, fruit, and roasted marshmallows are something on a stick. A person on a pogo stick can also be included in this summary. Have I left anything out, you decide!
