Bacon, Caramel, and Chocolate Dessert Popcorn
WHO CAN RESIST…. the sweet and salty decadent taste of the BACON, CHOCOLATE, and Caramel. Popcorn is a healthy but boring snack. Make it extra special and hard to resist by topping it with the sweet and salty decadent taste of bacon, chocolate, and caramel.
Bacon, Caramel, & Chocolate Dessert Popcorn
Time: 30 minutes
Yields: 6 Servings
Ingredients
• 2 cups popcorn (popped)
• 3 strips bacon (cooked)
• 5 tbsp. caramel topping
• 2 tbsp. semi-sweet mini chocolate chips
• ½ tsp. ground cayenne pepper
Instructions
1. Get a medium bowl and add the popped popcorn into it. Then add the ground cayenne pepper. Mix well to coat the popcorn.
2. Cook the bacon until crispy but not burnt. Set on paper towel to drain.
3. Once the bacon is cool enough to pick up, break it into small pieces.
4. Take the crumbled bacon pieces and add it to the popcorn mixture.
Mix well.
5. Add in the 5 Tbsp. of caramel topping. Stir well.
6. Then add the 2 Tbsp. of semi-sweet mini chocolate chips to popcorn mixture. Mix well.
7. Take a ice cream scoop or spoon and use it to scoop out the popcorn mix in small bite-sized portions. Spoon then into a mini muffin pan or place the bite-sized popcorn balls onto a cookie sheet.
8. Place them into the freezer for 20 minutes.
9. After 20 minutes, remove them from the freezer.
10.Serve and enjoy.
