Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops Pack a Punch when you are suffering from the effects of a cold. This company has been manufacturing two types of softish throat drops for well over 100 years. This fact can testify that their product must be good in order for it to be sold to the public for so long!
Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops were once sold as Pine Bros. Glycerin Tablets way back in 1870 when a candy confectionery maker, J. Herman Pine, discovered that by combining glycerin and gum acacia, sore throats could be comforted. He then added some natural flavorings and before you knew it, Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops evolved.
Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops
As you can see from the images above, Pine Bros. makes two kinds of softish throat drops, a Wild Cherry Flavor and a Honey Flavored throat drop. They also have a licorice flavor that is only available around the holiday season. The Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops come in two sizes, a travel tin as well as a convenient family-sized pack. At one time, Pine Bros. softish throat drops were a familiar site in stores across America, then they suddenly disappeared from the store shelves. No one knows why, but they did!
Now they are slowly making their presence known once again on the store shelves. Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops can also be purchased online. They are quite different than those hard to chew cough drops that many of us usually take when we are suffering from persistent coughs, colds and the flu.
I received both flavors of Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops in both the tin and family-sized economical packages for the purpose of a product review. I found the Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops help to sooth sore throats simply by letting them dissolve in your mouth, oh so slowly. You see these are made with products that are meant to coat the dry membranes of your mouth and throat area, thus, eliminating some of your dry cough. They are known as oral demulcent which not only place a protective film on your mucous membranes, but also relieve pain and minor inflammation. So do not chew them and you will reap their benefits.
I found that the Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops work on moisturizing the mouth, and stopping that annoying dry cough. Which I found to be much more effective than the mint candy that I have been taking periodically to hopefully do the same thing.
Pine Bros. plans on introducing a new flavor, “Lemon-Citrus” in the new year, which promises to be as good as the other softish throat drops under this brand name. So keep your eyes open for it!

I’m always on the lookout for great cough drops. Thanks for leading me to these!
