I recently had the opportunity to review products made from a company called Rudolph Foods. I am sure that most of you know or have heard about Rudolph Foods as they have been in producing their snack product for over 57 years. Just in case you all do not know what product I am talking about, they make the most delicious pork rinds you can imagine!
The pork rinds are tasty, crispy, and have the right crunch. They are high in protein, have no carbs, and are low in cholesterol. How’s that for a healthier snack alternative?
At one time, Rudolph Foods Pork Rinds was only found in Wal-Mart, but has since ventured into online sales. That’s right, you can purchase Rudolph Foods Pork Rinds in many stores and online as well. They have also branched out into other types of snack foods that you and your family can enjoy. Their pork rinds come in the following flavors; Original (plain) and BBQ. They also manufacture Rudolph’s Cinnamon Churros, Rudolph’s Original and Louisiana Hot OnYums, and Rudolph’s Chile Limon Chicharinas.
As for the samples I received for review purposes, they were perfect in flavor, texture, smell, and taste. They were also eaten up rather quickly. I like to eat my pork rinds plain. However, the kids ate some as a snack with some salsa. I should also mention that not only are Rudolph Foods Pork Rinds eaten as a snack food, there are meal time recipes that can also incorporate whole or crushed pork rinds as part of their ingredients. You can check out some of the out on their website.
Another great thing that Rudolph Foods is doing, besides making healthy snack foods, is donating to a cause. The cause that they are helping to support is Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund. Rudolph Foods is generously donating 10 cents from every bag of pork rinds sold in store and online to this non-profit organization that supports retired NFL players in need.
You can also go to their Facebook page here and try to win a case of pork rinds for yourself. Winner is drawn every Friday for the month of January.
Rudolph Foods is also sponsoring a giveaway on my blog for a case of an assortment of their products. Enter to win via the Rafflecopter form below.
