May 6th is No Diet Day. It is a day to remind people just how dieting can be rather unhealthy for you. This is especially true if you have decided to go on a diet without consulting a nutritionist or family doctor first.

No Diet Day

Your body needs specific vitamins and nutrients to help keep it strong. Binge and or fad dieting can actually cause more harm than good. Eating smaller portions of food that are low in fat throughout the day will give you energy.

Remember that we all come in different sizes, shapes, and colors and that beauty comes from within. If you are wanting to be healthier, eat less processed foods, drink lots of water, and make sure to do some walking.
