Sometimes when you feel pain in your body taking an aspirin or ibuprofen just does not cut it. Many people find out that the ingredients within these tablets cause your stomach to be upset. There are several different things that you can use to relieve pain and discomfort. I take fish oil supplements daily which helps to relieve joint pain.
Some people have been known to use Capsaicin creams and ointments to help relieve the pain that is associated with arthritis. Another topical cream that I found that works very well is Noxicare. You can find out more about the product review here.
Others rely on various herbs that are applied to various parts of the body to reduce pain and swelling. Another form of natural pain relief also includes acupuncture. Acupuncture has been used for hundreds, if not thousands, of years in China and has made its way to other parts of the world in the last century.
There is also acupressure therapy. This form of pain relief is usually done within the privacy of your home. It consists on laying on a mat that has been designed with thousands of little plastic nibs or points. You lie on these points at 15 minute intervals and the acupressure points relay a message to the nerve receptors and then to your brain and the pain associated with that specific nerve receptor is lessened.
Other natural pain relief remedies also include the use of white vinegar. The ingredients found in this product tends to help when you have a sprained ankle. Soak the injured spot in vinegar and wrap loosely in a tension bandage. Mind you, the smell can sometimes be overpowering, but it certainly will lessen your discomfort. Leg pain can sometimes be relieved by propping your leg up on a couple of pillows.
These are just a few natural pain relief remedies that work or have worked for me in the past. Try some of them out if you are experiencing pain in your body. They might just work on you as well!
