Healthy Shopper Picks Fall 2013

The Healthy Shopper Picks for Fall 2013 included- The Healthy Shopper Coupon Book- These coupons help you to save on organic products from your local grocery store. And we all know that organic products are usually more expensive than the processed foods that we also see at the store.

Simply Natural Condiments- This included their Organic Ketchup, Stone Ground Mustard, their Dijon Mustard, and Yellow Mustard as well. I have to admit that I am and have been a particular brand ketchup lover for many years and was reluctant to try the Simply Natural Organic Ketchup. I was surprised by the great taste of this organic ketchup. It is also a healthier alternative to the other ketchups on the market that are filled with sugars, artificial flavors, MSG, and other not so good for you ingredients. I am sure that the other products from this brand will taste just as good.

Almost forgot the ketchup! 🙂

Kiju Juice Boxes- Yummy is one word to describe this organic juice line. I am not a soda drinker, and rarely drink juice because of the amount of sugar that can be found in some of the juices on the market. However, I have to say that I do like this brand of juice boxes. I simply love anything with cherry and found the Pomegranate Cherry to be my favorite juice of them all.

Oreganol- I was quite surprised when I seen this product in the box as I know that Oregano oil is quite effective in helping to relieve the symptoms of colds and flu. What I like about the Oreganol product is that it is in a gel cap form which makes it easier to take without having that strong aftertaste left in your mouth. Oreganol is made from wild oregano that is found in Mediterranean soil and manufactured by the North American Herb & Spice Company.

Hyland’s Cough’n Cold for Kids- We are now heading into the cough and cold season. Hyland’s Cough ‘n Cold for Kids contains no artificial flavors, dyes, or sugars. It is a homeopathic alternative to over the counter medicine that relieves cold symptoms in children aged 2 to 12.

Pamela’s Products Baking & Pancake Mix- This product has no artificial ingredients and is also gluten free. It is very simple to use, all you have to do is add water and an egg. Pamela’s Products Baking & Pancake Mix makes pancakes that are airy and light. Top these ones with your favorite pancake topping.

Pamela’s Products Artisan Flour Bread- This flour contains no soy, gluten, dairy, nuts, corn, salt, or even leavening in this product. It is great for those one a gluten free diet. This flour can be used in all types of recipes. They advise consumers that they might have to add a little more water than what the recipe originally calls for.

Pamela’s Products Chocolate Cake Mix- I did not try Pamela’s Products Chocolate Cake Mix as yet.  However, it is gluten free, dairy free, and also wheat free.
