OOhhh.. Awww….. Freshly picked. Freshly picked fruits and vegetables certainly do smell amazing! However, this post is not about fruits nor vegetables. I recently had the opportunity to review an item from Freshly Picked and wanted to tell you all about it. The product was a pair of Freshly Picked Baby Moccasins.

Freshly Picked is a company that specializes in handmade baby moccasins but have also branched out to include other baby apparel. The business was started by Susan Petersen who wanted to design a comfortable pair of baby shoes for one of her toddlers. Scrap leather and patience led to her making a pair of comfy baby shoes that her son loved. She enjoyed designing them and decided to open shop with $200 she had earned. Well, the rest is history. Freshly Picked now makes 42 different baby moccasins, tee’s, hats, onesies, keepalls, and even carryalls. Each item is expertly crafted with the same care and precision.

This fact has not gone unnoticed as Freshly Picked products have been showcased in many major US mags and have been favored by Hollywood Jetsetters as well as common folk just like us.

Let’s just drop some names that can be associated with Freshly Picked, US Weekly, Parenting Magazine and In Touch. Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Babble, Oh Happy Day, Bleubird Vintage, The NieNie Dialogues, CJane, Sometimes Sweet, Nat the Fat Rat, The Alison Show, Whoorl and Cup of Jo. They have also been on ABC’s Shark Tank. Quite a following for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and $200 bucks to startup.

Now…. let’s talk about the review item! YEAH! I chose to review The Heirloom Moccasin for babies. I chose the size 3 and have to admit it was a hard choice to choose just one, they were all so beautiful. With my choice made, I tried to patiently wait for them to arrive in the post. I was so excited and thrilled at the same time when the box arrived at my door. I have to say that without even peeking at the shoe, you know that you are getting a quality product as soon as you open the box.

Inside the box were the shoes. However, they were enclosed in a special bag and had a FP button pinned to the front. See what care goes into their presentation.

I just could not wait to take a peek inside! Here is what The Heirloom Moccasins look like.

And the smell… Absolutely Divine. They smell like Freshly Picked leather. As I turned them over around in my hand I seen the FP stamp on the bottom.

The quality of workmanship in these pair of baby moccasins is outstanding!
