I recently had the opportunity to review two products made by the Buttons Cloth Diapers Company. The company makes diaper covers and diaper inserts that will help to keep your baby dry and comfortable. They also make flannel wipes that are soft and gentle for baby’s skin. I should mention that the company sent me one cover and one daytime insert for review purposes. The other cover (the Hero), one additional daytime insert and the nighttime insert I purchased to aid in my review. I was offered a discount on my purchase.
Let’s start with the Daytime Microfiber Insert. I choose the small size that fits size 9-20 lbs. What I liked about this product is the fact that it is very soft to touch and contains 4 layers of absorbent cotton to keep babies bottom dry. The Daytime Microfiber Insert has snap buttons on the outside part that easily snaps to their diaper covers. Visually there is little difference between the two different types of inserts other than the seam threads being a slightly different color of green. Personally I think that this is the only fault that I can find with these products. I think that Buttons Cloth Diapers should change up the color of their Nighttime Diaper Inserts to a red or blue thread to help those who have trouble seeing a difference to be able to distinguish between the two colors.
Next we have the Nighttime Diaper Inserts. These are also made with microfiber. There are two differences with this type of insert. It is made with 6 layers of microfiber, therefore giving baby more absorbency protection. The other difference is that is has the snap buttons on the inside of the liner as well as the outside. ***NOTE*** Make sure to snap in a Daytime insert on top of the Nighttime insert as the Daytime one is the only one that has a layer of ultrasoft wicking fleece that keeps moisture away from baby.
The cover that I was sent was the Critters Diaper Cover. It is well made and has snap buttons on the outside so you can adjust the snap closure to the best size for your child. It was bright and colorful and the inside lining is rubberized to help keep it from leaking. I thought that it would be pleasing to the baby’s eyes with its bright colors and entertaining animal characters.
Here is what is looks like-
The cover that I purchased, was the Hero’s Diaper Cover. It is bright and colorful. It showcases job industries in the service sector that help to keep us safe from harm. It is made with the same details as the other cover with its adjustable snap closure buttons, the rubberized liner, and the inner snap buttons in which you snap in the liner.
Overall, these products are well made and worth the purchase cost. If you happen to be in the market for diaper covers and inserts, make sure to check out the Buttons Cloth Diaper Company.
