December 8th is Brownie Day. SWEET! That is if you like Brownies. To me, they are far too sweet. My kids love ’em though. There are many different types of brownies. Brownies made from scratch and ones make from a mix. Cakey, fudgy or even chewy brownies are favorite quick to make and grab treat.
White chocolate or dark chocolate brownies. OH MY! The sky is the limit.
Super Fudge Brownies

Ingredients
6 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate
1 cup salted butter, softened
4 large eggs
1 3/4 cups white sugar
1 Tbsp. pure vanilla extract
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
pinch salt
1 cup (6 oz) semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Cut into 2 inch squares. Makes approximately 16 brownies.
Method
1. Grease an 8×8 pan. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
2. Melt unsweetened chocolate and butter in small pot over medium-low heat. Stir frequently to prevent burning.
3. Once chocolate is almost thoroughly melted, remove from heat. Stir until smooth.
4. Beat eggs in large bowl until well mixed. Add in sugar and blend at low speed until well blended.
5.Add in melted chocolate and vanilla. Blend well. Add in chopped walnuts. Add flour and salt. Mix until well blended.
6. Pour batter into greased 8×8 pan. Smooth the top of the brownie. Sprinkle with additional chocolate chips if desired.
7. Bake at 300 F on the middle rack for approximately 45-55 minutes. Use a toothpick to do a test for doneness. Do not overbake.
8. Remove from oven and permit it to cool at room temperature. Once cooled, cover and refrigerate for at least an hour. Slice brownies with sharp knife that has been dipped in hot water.
9. Serve chilled.
