Blackberry Trifle Dessert
Ingredients-
You will need your favorite vanilla cake mix baked, cooled and cubed.
Whipped Topping
2 cups fresh blackberries
1/2 cup blackberry jam
7 oz. jar Marshmallow cream
Fresh strawberries (optional)
Method-
Mash 1 cup of fresh blackberries and mix with the marshmallow cream and blackberry jam.
In each of your trifle cups layer 4-5 pieces of cubed vanilla cake.
Spoon in your blackberry/marshmallow cream mixture (about 2-3 Tablespoons).
Place large fresh blackberries between each corner that the cake did not touch the sides of your trifle dish.
Layer a generous amount of whipped topping, approximately 1/3 cup.
Apply another 5 cubes of vanilla cake.
Layer the blackberry marshmallow cream.
Pipe on another generous layer of whipped topping.
Use the rest of your fresh blackberries to decorate the top.
To add a splash of color use one large fresh strawberry sliced 5-6 times, length-wise, but not all the way through and fan out. Place on top.
