Alice in Wonderland – Toadstool Treats
Alice in Wonderland is a classic and family favorite for many! If you’re planning an Alice in Wonderland themed birthday party, these adorable Toadstool Treats are a perfect idea for your sweets table!
Ingredients:
• regular size marshmallows
• strawberries – hulls removed
• red candy melt
• white edible candy pearls
• toothpicks
• gummy worms – sour or regular
• parchment paper
Begin by cutting the tops from your strawberries to create a flat surface.
Make sure all strawberries are clean and completely dry.
In a microwave safe bowl, melt the red candy melt according to package instructions.
Place marshmallows on parchment paper, standing upright to receive the toadstool cap.
Carefully insert toothpick into each strawberry and dip the strawberry into the candy melt. You will want to be sure the entire strawberry is coated.
Insert each strawberry topped toothpick into a marshmallow. The toothpick should secure the strawberry and should not stick out just ¼” or so.
While candy melt is still warm, add edible pearls to each toadstool to create the spots.
