Alice in Wonderland Party Snacks– Mad Hatter
These adorable and tasty little Hats are another perfect treat for your Alice in Wonderland themed party. They are easy to make and your guests will love them!
Ingredients:
• regular size marshmallows
• green candy melt
• prepared white fondant
• black food coloring
• vanilla
• vanilla wafer cookies
• wax paper
• small paint brush
Instructions:
Begin by covering your work surface with wax paper.
Melt green candy melt according to package instructions.
Coat each vanilla wafer cookie with the candy melt and place on wax paper to set.
After all cookies are coated, begin coating marshmallows with the candy melt, placing one atop each cookie. Let candy melt harden completely.
While candy melt sets, roll out a small amount of white fondant. It should be approximately 1/8” to ¼” thick. Cut fondant into small rectangles. Attach each rectangle to a hat with the remaining candy melt.
Mix a small amount of black food coloring with vanilla. This will create a food coloring “water color paint”. Use the small paint brush to paint the hat size 10/6 onto each white rectangle.
Allow treats to set until all candy melt is hardened and serve to your guests!
