Breakfast/Brunch Ideas-Maple Bacon Monkey Loaf

Sometimes it can be difficult deciding what to make for breakfast or brunch. Make breakfast or brunch special with this easy to make Maple Bacon Monkey Loaf. Great to serve on weekends to family and/or friends.

Maple Bacon Monkey Loaf - 1 a

Maple Bacon Monkey Loaf

Ingredients

2 cans of refrigerated biscuits

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

3/4 cup white sugar

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 cup maple syrup

1 11 oz package of bacon, chopped, fried, and crumbled

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Spray loaf pan with baking spray.

Maple Bacon Monkey Loaf- In Process 1

Separate each biscuit and cut them into quarters
Roll each quarter into a ball.

Place dough balls on a parchment paper lined baking sheet

Combine sugars and cinnamon in a dish.

Place butter into a microwaveable safe bowl and melt it.

Place the dough balls into the butter.

Make sure that the whole dough ball is coated in butter.

Roll the dough balls in the cinnamon/sugar mixture.

Maple Bacon Monkey Loaf- In Process 4

Pour about 1/3 of the maple syrup in a loaf pan and sprinkle with 1/3 of the cooked crumpled bacon pieces.

Place enough of the dough balls into the loaf pan to completely cover the bottom of the pan.

Maple Bacon Monkey Loaf- In Process 5

Top with another 1/3 of the syrup and bacon.

Add remaining dough balls and top with remaining syrup and bacon.

Maple Bacon Monkey Loaf- In Process 6

Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.or until golden brown in color.

*Baking Tip- If the dough balls seems to be browning too quickly, cover the pan with tin foil and continue baking until done.

Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes.

Transfer the Maple Bacon Monkey Loaf to a serving plate.

Serve it to family and/or friends.
