Zulugrass Jewelry- A Review

Share

I had the opportunity the other day to receive in the mail, two beautiful pieces of Zulugrass jewelry from The Leakey Collection. I was quite thrilled by the look, texture and quality of these beautiful bracelets.

The pioneers behind this unique collection of jewelry are Katy and Philip Leakey. Not only do you get some exquisite pieces of jewelry when you purchase some of these fine pieces, you will also help to connect various communities worldwide by implementing sustainable programs that will not only benefit our planet Earth, but mankind as well.

Zulugrass is natural, hand-crafted sustainable jewelry that is made in the Rift Valley in Kenya, East Africa by African natives using fallen wood, sustainable grass and bush fired porcelain. The results are spectacular as you can see in this picture!

And while these pieces are exquisite in their own right, they also help to protect the environment and help to promote economic growth to one of the poorest nations in the world. The product itself is sold in stores worldwide and The Leaky Collection is also a member of the Fair Trade Federation and Green America.

There are several different items in The Leakey Collection, including single-strand and multi-strand Zulugrass bracelets, necklaces, Zulugrass earrings and other types of earrings as well. Other jewelry embellishments that are expertly handcrafted can also be purchased at The Leakey Collection. Wooden kitchen utensils can also be purchased for the website.

Check it out yourself to see the quality, care and workmanship that goes into each piece of artisan hand-crafted piece in The Leaky Collection.

*Disclaimer*- I received two single strand bracelets from The Leaky Collection to review. I was not obligated to write a positive review in order to receive the products. All opinions are entirely my own.
