The Nayoya Acupressure Mat Review and Giveaway

Share

I received a product the other day from Nayoya and it was a product that will surely come in handy for my family. It was a full acupressure mat set to review. For those of you who are unaware of how the Nayoya Acupressure Mat works, it is a mat that contains 27 flower-shaped buttons. These buttons are actually 27 pain free acupressure points and a person who lies upon the mat for at least ten minutes a day will benefit greatly from its use.

What the Nayoya Acupressure Mat does when you lay on it is the acupressure points help the body to release endorphins that make you feel good. If you are experiencing back pain, lying on the mat for 30-40 minutes a day can relieve your body of back pain as well as pain in other parts of your body. It also helps to ease pain in the shoulders and legs.

The product itself can be used by people aged 10 and up. However, in the case of a child using the mat, it is recommended that a thin, light cloth cover the acupressure points before having them lay on it. This is because their skin is much more delicate than that of an adult. The mat is NOT to be used by pregnant women or people with low blood pressure.

You do not have to lie on your back when using the Nayoya Acupressure Mat, you can lie on it on your stomach as well. The mat can be used on the legs, neck, torso, abs, and even your feet.

The Nayoya Acupressure Mat works similar to ancient Chinese healing powers of acupressure which focus on unblocking the “chee” which permits healthy blood flow and removes negativity from the body.

When the mat gets dirty, wash it by hand in warm soapy water, rinse and hang to dry. Do not put it in the washer or dryer as this might wreck the flower shaped acupressure points.

I, myself, have used massage techniques to apply pressure to certain parts of the body to relieve pressure and tension and was a little timid about actually lying on the mat for fear that the plastic points would hurt me. Needless to say, I did gather up some courage from deep within and tried it. I was not hurt by the flower-shaped pressure points at all. I will increase my time on it when I am able to do so.

If you happen to have any open cuts, it is not recommended that you use the Nayoya Acupressure Mat until the wound is healed.

Have you ever tried acupuncture to relieve pains? If so, did it work?

I was getting all excited for this and was really wanting to find one for me to use until I saw the big warning that it should not be used for pregnant women 🙁 I will have to wait until after baby is born because it sounds heavenly!

I have heard of these! They look awesome – I always have lower back and neck pain. My mom keeps telling me to visit her acupuncturist, but I think one of these mats would be much nicer. Thanks for sharing!

I learned this mat has an 80% success rate for back pain.

Also, the link to the backpainreliefacupressuremat FB page doesn’t work and I can’t find that FB page anywhere. I’ll “Like” them as soon as I can find it.

I learned that the mat can help with depression. I think it would be wonderful to use the mat to relieve depression without having to medicate.
