For those of you who are looking for a small appliance such as a coffee machine that does more than just make coffee, I would recommend the Keurig B70 Series. I was fortunate enough to receive on for review purposes and I simply love it! The Keurig B70 Platinum Series is a single cup brewer. However, it offers more versatility than just your average coffee machine.

The Keurig B70 Series can brew coffee, teas, and ciders. You also have the choice of either a hot or cold drink. In order to brew a cold drink, simply choose which Kcup flavor you want. For example, I tried both the Green Mountain Coffee, Extra Bold that I received as a sample as well as the Celestial Seasonings Perfect Iced Tea. I have yet to try the Green Mountain Naturals Hot Apple Cider.

Before using your Keurig B70 Platinum unit there are some things that you should do. Follow these steps to ensure that your brewer is set up properly before you brew your first cup.

1. Remove the packaging from the unit and place on counter.
2. Remove the lid to the water reservoir and fill with water. It is recommended that you use distilled
or bottled water to cut down on lime scale buildup.
3. Plug the unit in and press the off/on switch located at the back of the unit.
4. Place mug on the cup plate which is located under the brew spout.
5. Press the flashing brew button.
6. Let the cup fill with boiling water.
7. Throw out that cup of boiling water.
8. Choose one of the Kcup flavors and place it in the top part of the unit. There is a silver handle that
you lift up. Be careful when putting the Kcup into the unit as there are special pins that pierce the Kcup
to permit the flavor to flow through. Close the lid.
9. Choose your cup size and place on brewing plate under the spout.
10. Press brew.
11. In a matter of minutes, you will have a cup of freshly brewed coffee, tea, hot chocolate or cider.
12. The unit is also programmable, so just set the timer to the time that you wish and wake up to something warm or cold and refreshing.

As you can see the Keurig B70 Platinum Series is a nice looking machine. It is rather easy to set up and within no time you will have a drink of your choice.

There are several things that come along with the Keurig machine, such as; an owner’s manual, that clearly explains all the parts of the machine and the basic setup. It also goes into detail how to set the timer, cleaning instructions and much more.

It also comes with a booklet that list the various types of Kcups that are available for the machine. Some of them are iced coffee, energy coffee, iced tea, travel mug sized coffee, and milk-based beverages.

For those of you who wish to have an iced drink using the Keurig B70 Brewer, it is recommended that you use a ceramic or stainless steel mug. Do not use plastic or glass. Simply add whole or crushed ice cubes to your cup. Place your drink of choice in the Keurig B70 brewer, put your cup of ice underneath and brew as usual.

The Keurig B70 Platinum Series is a great brewing system for your home or to give as a gift for Christmas or any time of the year!
