Breakfast Choices: Omelet in a Bag- When it comes to campfire meal prep, simple is the name of the game. To get started with this easy and tasty breakfast, put a large pot of water on your camping stove and bring it to a boil. While you wait for the water to reach boiling, write the family’s names each on quart sized freezer bags. Next, break two eggs into each bag and get the kids in on the prep by allowing them to add their omelet ingredient favorites like cheese, bacon, onions or ham. With either your fingers or a fork, mix all ingredients in the bag and squeeze out the air. (Removing as much air as possible is crucial as you don’t want the bag to burst while cooking.) Next, add the bags to the hot pot for ten minutes to solidify the eggs before finally removing and dumping your bags on each family member’s plate. Season to taste and voila! Delicious camping breakfast in less than 15 minutes!

Lunch or Dinner: Pie Iron Hot Sandwiches- By far the easiest hot meal suitable for both lunch and dinner, just butter some bread slices and place butter side down on pie iron over hot coals for 1 minute on each side. Just like that, you have hot and delicious lunch or dinner.

Dinner Options: Foil Meals- Pick your meet and favorite vegetables. Just double wrap with heavy-duty foil after buttering your ingredients and season to taste. Place over hot coals for 1 hour turning once for even cooking and you have a delectable 2 course meal for the whole family!
