FollowApril 6th is Tartan Day. Tartan is a woven cloth that is worn by those of Scottish heritage. Some of these cloths are brightly colored, others are dark in color. Clan tartans signified that a person belonged to that particular group of people.
In you are interested in seeing some of these on display, check to see if there is a parade in your area. You could also show your love of this type of cloth even if you are not Scottish, by wearing a scarf or even a kilt that shows your love of the tartan.
