FollowPetite and Proud Day
May 4th is the day for people of short stature to be proud of the height that they are. Petite and Proud Day gives them a chance to shine! There is nothing wrong with being petite or short in stature for that matter. People come in all shapes and sizes and can often find themselves the brunt of the joke.
Short people are sometimes called half-pint because of their height. Short people suffer less back strain than their taller counterparts simply because they do not have to manuever their body very much to get into the cupboards that are below the kitchen counter.
Today is a day for shorties to be proud. Just remember that no matter your size, shape, or color, you are unique and have a right to be proud of all that you have accomplished in life. And that you are beautiful, just the way you are!
