Pecan Day
Pecan Day is March 25th. These nuts are extremely popular in the southern part of the United States. At one time, they only grew in North American, but that may have since changed. These native trees may now be grown in other countries.
Once their nut shells have been removed, these can be eaten as is. Many people use them in baking. Pies and tarts are popular dessert choices.
They are known for their buttery like flavor and are a little crunchy. This type of nut is also used in salads and to top ice cream.
