No Gift Parties with GradSave

Share

Many people choose to forego the hassle of rushing around to look for a party gift for a young child. Nowadays, friends and relatives now put money into a college registry such as GradSave. This type of program is a green alternative to gifting that will certainly come in handy once the child reaches the age to enter college.

In fact, you can easily open a GradSave account for a child and invite friends and relatives to help with the contribution. And if your GradSave account reaches $1000.00 within a 60 day period, the people at GradSave will give you a bonus of $100.00 to really help you out with your party.

What a great way to start saving for the future education of a child! GradSave eliminates the worry of not choosing the right gift for the birthday child!

This is an absolutely wonderful idea! We live quite far away from friends/family so sometimes for events it’s hard for them to choose the right present for our little one and even harder to have to deal with shipping it. We have talked in the past about doing something like this but didn’t know there was already an easy way to do so. Thank you for sharing!

I think this is a wonderful idea. I’ll forward this idea to my DIL – I don’t have any children to have a party for. Or you might want to do it and use my name?

This is an awesome concept that encourages savings! We do home parties (our family of 6 only) and this is great way for all four sets of Grandparents to give!

What a wonderful idea to help children have a nest egg for college AND it’s green! 🙂 I had never heard of this and now I’m telling my daughter about it so our family can help with her son’s future education! Thanks for posting this and letting me know about this great idea and this account. Love your blog!
