Eco-Lips, the Evolution

Share

The evolution of Eco-Lips came about as a natural lip balm that was first made by Andrea Danielson, who made batches of natural lip balm in her home. She met Steve, fell in love and got married. Steve, having the entrepreneur spirit, began comparing their home made lip balm against others on the market. The two of them, along with their top sales rep, Jim who also had the entrepreneurial spirit, created a brand image and created an organic lip balm and quickly introduced Eco-Lips onto the market.

Eco-Lips supports family farms that refrain from the use of pesticides and herbicides. They also allocate 1% of their sales to organizations that are socially responsible and environmentally friendly.types to choose Their motto is that YOU can make a BIG difference to a small company, instead of a small difference to a BIG company.

Not all of their lip balms are 100% organic, for instance, the ones that contain Vitamin E. There is several different type Eco Lips flavors to choose from, depending on your need. For instance, their kids line are made with fruit juices and organic oils and is 100% edible!

I received five lip balms from Eco Lips for the purpose of a review and these were; Eco Lips Coconut, Eco Lips Energy, Eco Tints, Eco Lips Restore, and Eco Lips Gold.

Eco-Lips Coconut is pure and simply divine! Goes on smooth and light, and not overpowering. This one is definitely my favorite as I simply love coconut.

The Eco Lips Energy is nice tasting, goes on smooth and has an added punch of caffeine, green tea and vitamin B12. It is mint flavored and is one of my favorites.

The Many Tints of Eco-Lips

The Eco Tints comes in various shades and I choose the Moonstone as I thought that it suited my complexion the best. It comes in six different tints and is made with organic plant oils, beeswax and aloe vera to moisturize and protect your lips. They are infused with natural earth minerals that gives them their shimmery glow.

Eco Lips Restore lip balm is one that nourishes and repairs severely, dry chapped lips. It has Tamanu oil, coconut oil and cocoa butter that work together to revitalize and repair. The taste takes some getting used to as it contains ginger, however, it glides on smooth, leaving your lips feeling soft and supple. I will use this sparingly when the weather gets colder or pass it off to one of my daughters.

The Eco-Lips Gold from Eco Lips is made with organic Baobab oil and organic beeswax. It also contains cocoa butter, vitamin E and other important extracts that leave you lips soft and supple. This one is unflavored for those of you who want just the plain lip moisturizer.

I also received a handy purse clip that hangs inside the purse and holds the lip balm. Great idea as this will put it within hands reach.

Eco-Lips are for All Seasons

If you are interested in purchasing lip balm, no matter the season, make sure to check out Eco-Lips as their lip balms are very good and quite affordable too! The lip balms range in price from $3.49 to $4.49 and they also have a face stick as well.
