FollowThere are many different products on the market today that consumers can use to whiten their teeth. These over-the-counter applications usually contain some sort of bleaching solution. I recently had the opportunity to review the Dial-A-Smile Teeth Whitening Kit from Whitening Lightning which comes with a dispensing dish, LED light, a gel syringe with 3 treatments, 3 teeth wipes, a shade dial, an application brush and 3 vitamin E swabs.
Before starting the treatment, I used the shade dial to determine the color of my teeth. Then I used the vitamin E swab and wiped it all over my gums and lips. Using the applicator brush, I then applied the gel to my teeth. Seconds later I turned on the LED light and placed it in my mouth. I kept it there for 20 minutes. Afterwards, I brushed my teeth to remove the gel. Although I did not try it with the first application, it does state that you can actually leave the gel on overnight after using the LED light.
I must admit that I did have some discomfort with the initial use of this product, which can be expected. You might experience a slight burning sensation when you use the Dial-A-Smile Teeth Whitening Kit from Whitening Lightning. However, even after the first application I did notice that my teeth did indeed appear whiter.
As for the other two applications, I will use them when my teeth started to show deep, dark stains. In between this time, I will use the Super Booster Whitening Pen also manufactured and marketed by Whitening Lightening.
Dial-A-Smile contains hydrogen peroxide, unlike some of the other teeth whitening products on the market, which use carbamide, a similar, but weaker teeth whitening solution.
