As mentioned in a prior post, I use lip balm, lip gloss, petroleum jelly or lipstick on my lips year round. I have really dry lips that do tend to peel, crack and bleed if not protected and moisturized. In today’s mail, I received 2 ChopSaver lip balms, one original and one gold with SPF.
Now these lip balms are a little different then some of the lip balms on the market today as they contain no animal fat nor petroleum.
They, in fact, contain organic herbs and oils that are beneficial in healing various conditions that commonly occur with lips. If you happen to have dry, chapped lips, cold sores, fever blisters or similar conditions, the citrus oils, herbs and butters will soothe and heal them quite effectively.
I, myself, tried the original ChopSaver and was quite amazed at how long it lasted on my lips and it was very easy to apply. The Gold ChopSaver with SPF will be used when I am outside. The Gold ChopSaver with SPF is great for athletes, such as; bikers, hikers, cross country skiers or swimmers. But you do not have to be an athlete to benefit from using this product.
Here is a list of the ingredients that are found in ChopSaver Lip Balms;
– white willow
– ginger
– comfrey
– arnica
– calendula
– shea butter
– mango butter
– aloe
– vitamin e
– avocado oil
– grapeseed oil
– castor oil
– apricot kernel oil
– citrus oils

The ChopSaver lip balms are also a favorite amongst musicians who play woodwind instruments as the moisturizers in these lip balms help to soothe and prevent dry, chapped lips. If you would like to get some for yourself, you can do so here.
