March 8th is Check Your Batteries Day. Many national days can be humorous. However, this date reminds you to look at the safety equipment in your home that help to protect your family. Fire alarms should be looked at and the old batteries replaced at least twice a year to ensure that they are in proper working order.
A working fire alarm can save lives. Make sure to look after yours. Do something good for the environment as well and make sure that you recycle them.
