Fall Fixins’-Turkey Apple Soup
Making homemade soup is also a great way to use up leftover produce before it ends in the trash can. Pasta shapes or rice can add some texture and filler for the soup. You can make it with or without meat. I hope that you make this Turkey Apple Soup during the fall months.

Instructions
  1. Spray your crock pot with non-stick spray. Add in the apple juice and chicken stock. Turn the crock pot on to medium and add all the other ingredients-EXCEPT THE PASTA. Stir gently to mix together. Slow cook on medium heat for 5 hours. Then add in the pasta. Mix well to combine. Slow cook for one more hour. Turn off crock pot.
Bread Bowls
  1. Take each bread bowl and cut out a circle at the top. Scoop out the excess bread and place in a bowl. The bread can be used for stuffing, bread pudding, or bread crumbs. Cut approximately 1/4 around. You are going to use the bread as a bowl in which you will place a single serving of soup. Now that the Turkey Apple Soup is done and the bread bowl has been cut. Spoon a single serving of the soup into the bread bowl. Garnish each single serving with a sprig of thyme before serving, if you wish.
