Green juicing has become extremely popular over the last few years. This is partially due to the fact that people are more aware of the health benefits of juicing. Not only are they more aware of this fact, manufacturers have created blenders that have more power and versatility. Because of this advancement, water or juice can be added to a machine, along with a lot of vegetables and/or fruits. These are pulverized, pureed and blended together to create healthy juices that are rich in vitamins, minerals, and anti-oxidants. Here is a recipe for green juicing that you may enjoy!
Green Juicing for Better Health
2 sprigs parsley
2 small baby bell peppers
1 stalk celery
2 leaves of kale
½ large Pink Lady apple
1 handful tender baby greens (kale, chard, spinach)
1 inch slice of ginger, peeled
½ large cucumber
½ large lemon (peeled if using blender)
